Drum Pallet - Originally we built the drum pallet for ourselves - to help with the recycling of steel shot - tilting the drums were dangerous and always deformed the drums. We used the same 55 gallon drums - but we welded a cone in the bottom - to provide the correct angle of repose for all the abrasive to discharge the drum. We developed ( patented) a slide gate that would not bind, welded fork pockets and made a few other adjustments- how that would be the Drum Pallet. It is now an integral part of our Recycling Program. Drums go out full of abrasive and come back with customer spent, co-mingled, dirty abrasive for recycling.
