Abrasives - Are numerous in description and applications, as well as cost. Depending on what you are trying to accomplish, there is an efficient blasting media for you. Much of it also depends on the type abrasive reclaim system you have.

If you do not have an abrasive reclaim - you are destined for one of the single pass, non reusable abrasive. The most common are silica sand, black beauty and starblast - they are fairly inexpensive and serve their purposes for media that is not recyclable. We as a company have stopping supplying these products, they generate a lot of dust and large waste streams. Entree level abrasives that we suggest and that also have some reusable qualities would be Crushed Glass - which is exactly what it suggests - however the free silica is fused and unlike silica sand - there is no concern about silicosis. It comes in 50 # bags or super sacs and can be reclaimed as reused. 

In order of durability - which is only one factor to consider when selecting abrasives, we offer Potter Glass Bead, GMA-Garnet, the other GMA- Aluminum Oxide, Wheelabrator Steel Shot / Grit, Sigma - Stainless Steel shot / Grit and a Korean Stainless Steel Cut Wire.

Other abrasives that we also offer - but have specific applications are - Plastics Type II and V, Baking Soda, & Agrishell.
